Here's how we’re making Liberians become responsible promoters of reliable and credible information in Liberia.
Media Literacy
The organization has conducted public awareness on Media Literacy at six Schools in Rural Montserrado with over five hundred(500) senior high school students in attendance. The schools include: Lucy Gibson School and Montserrado Technical Institute in Mount Barclay, Kingsley Lington Academy and Confidence School in Fendell and New Jerusalem School and Careysburg Public High School in Careysburg. Moreover, we organized a two-day Media Literacy Awareness for over fifty (50) students of the Department of Communication and Media Studies at the University of Liberia.
Digital Literacy
Campaigners against misinformation and disinformation in Liberia in partnership with Orange Digital Center hosted a one-day Digital Literacy Workshop for eighteen (18) students from six schools in Rural Montserrado County at the Orange Digital Center in Congo Town, Monrovia. Those students now serve as ambassadors in the fight against misinformation and disinformation in their schools and communities in order to sustain the peace in Liberia especially during and after the upcoming Presidential and Legislative Elections and beyond.

Testimonials
Liberia is at a crossroads because we have elections in 2023. Many politicians will use social media to promote their campaigns. The electorates have to verify information on social media.

I really appreciate your visit at our institution. It has taught us about misinformation and disinformation. During devotion on campus, I will tell students about these three steps to follow: STOP, REFLECT AND VERIFY information before sharing it online.
Yatta George

Not everything you see online can be factual. If you see any post or information online you have to verify it before sharing it with the public.
