CAMDL conducts Media Literacy Awareness at Hope International Christian Academy School in Mount Barclay

Campaigners against misinformation and disinformation in Liberia conducted a Media Literacy Awareness at Hope International Christian Academy School in Mount Barclay with over forty(40) students in attendance. The students learned the difference between misinformation and disinformation and steps to verify information. The Media Literacy awareness is intended to prevent the spread against misinformation and disinformation in Liberia.

The spread of misinformation and disinformation in the country particularly as we approach elections can lead to chaos, violence or instability in Liberia. Our mission is to sustain the peace by educating citizens how to verify information before sharing it. Here’s the feedback of students:
