CAMDL Executive Director, Taweh Johnson, represents LFN at Misinfo Mitigation Symposium.

The Executive Director of Campaigners Against Misinfo and Disinfo in Liberia, Taweh Johnson, represented the Liberia Fact-Checking Network at the Misinformation Mitigation Symposium organized by the National Democratic Institute in partnership with iLabLiberia and with support from Canada’s International Development – Global Affairs Canada.

The Misinformation Mitigation Symposium was part of the Misinformation and Disinformation Regional Study Mission in Liberia. The Symposium brought together participants from Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria. Those participants from Sierra Leone and, Nigeria shared their approaches to counter misinformation and disinformation during their elections with their Liberian counterparts.
