CAMDL has trained over ten (10) TVET Public Relations Officers from Monrovia, Kakata and Buchanan. The Public Relations Officers represent BWI, LOIC, MVTC, BDOTC, and others.
CAMDL Executive Director, Taweh Johnson, presented on Crisis, Reputation, and Issue Management of TVET Image. Taweh Johnson emphasized that crisis promotes the spread of false information.
CAMDL Executive Director, Taweh Johnson, equipped participants with digital skills to prevent and respond to misinformation and disinformation during a crisis at TVET Institution.
Participants lauded Campaigners Against Misinformation and Disinformation in Liberia for the crucial role of improving community resilience to false information in Liberia. The Public Relations Officers said the Crises management digital skills will be utilized at their various TVET institutions.
The two-day workshop took place June 11-12, 2024 in Monrovia.
The European Institute for Cooperation and Development- IECD Liberia organized the TVET Public Relations Workshop.
