CAMDL met with over 50 students from various high schools in Liberia at STARZ University on Thursday. The Students were enlightened on the danger of false information in Liberia and how to verify information before sharing it.
According to CAMDL Executive Director, Taweh Johnson, the organization reached out to high school students because most of them have a smartphone and social media account but lack the knowledge and skills to verify online information.
This is part of the Misinformation and Disinformation Awareness Campaign across Montserrado County.
