Yesterday evening our Executive Director, Taweh Johnson , joined Cubans and other dignitaries and celebrated the National Culture Day of Cuba at the Cuban Embassy in Monrovia.
We are grateful to the Ambassador of Cuba in Liberia, Dr. Indira López Arguelles, for the invitation.
Cubans celebrate every year, on October 20, the National Culture Day. October 20th evokes the clamor of struggle, the taste of victory, and the spirit of independence of an entire people, and it is a date to exalt and remember the reasons for being Cuban by birth, to feel it in the blood, soul, and spirit.
