CAMDL Celebrates International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025

Today CAMDL celebrates the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) 2025 under the global theme “Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress.”

CAMDL has been empowering people with disabilities in Liberia on how to verify information using digital tools because people with disabilities are extremely vulnerable to false information through media and digital literacy training.

On this day, CAMDL calls on all public and private institutions to be inclusive. This involves removing barriers and providing necessary accommodations so that every individual can participate, contribute, and thrive.

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated annually on December 3rd to promote the rights and well-being of people with disabilities and raise awareness of their inclusion in all aspects of society.
