CAMDL celebrates 2025 Global Media and Information Literacy Week! Theme: “Minds Over AI—MIL in Digital Spaces”
Yesterday CAMDL hosted a Media and Information Literacy training at the Bethesda Assembly of God School on SKD Boulevard in Paynesville.
Over forty (40) junior high school students participated and got enlightened on the essence of Media and Information Literacy and how to verify information and detect artificial intelligence videos.
The training has created a pathway to promote Media and Information Literacy in schools. CAMDL is a member of the UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Alliance.
The Global Media and Information Literacy Week is an annual event observed from 24th to 31st October to raise awareness and celebrate the progress achieved towards Media and Information Literacy for all.
During the Global Media and Information Literacy Week, stakeholders around the world organize events, and UNESCO co-hosts with a member state the global conference gathering the Media and Information Literacy community.
