The conference brought together participants from Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Mali, Burkina Faso, Congo and Kenya. Those participants from Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Kenya shared their approaches to counter misinfo, disinfo and hate speech during their elections with their Liberian counterparts. This is crucial because Liberia goes to the polls in 71 days. This was an insightful Conference and a great networking opportunity. We are grateful to NDI and its partners for organizing the conference. Special gratitude goes to the Canadian Government for the funding.
