Our team has visited two schools in rural Montserrado County ( Warriors for Jesus Kids School in Mount Barclay and King of Glory School in Fendell) and carried out Media Literacy awareness with over fifty (50) students in attendance. The Media Literacy Awareness was intended to teach students how to verify information before sharing or posting it online. The main objective is to prevent the spread of misinformation and disinformation in Liberia.
The students thanked Campaigners against misinfo and disinfo in Liberia for such an awareness. The students have vowed to be responsible promoters of reliable and credible information in Liberia going forward. Our team intends to reach out to other schools in Rural Montserrado before the climax of this academic year.
