CAMDL Executive Director, Taweh Johnson, has completed MediaEd Institute 2024. The Media Education Lab in the United States of America hosted the Virtual Institute. The Media Education Lab is a public benefit corporation that advances the practice of media literacy education through leadership development, research and scholarship, and community engagement.
The MediaEd Institute gathered together for six weeks over thirty(30) Media Literacy Professionals from across the world to learn micro-credential Courses such as Critical AI Literacy and others.
CAMDL Executive Director, Taweh Johnson, was part of the Critical AI Literacy course. As his final project, Taweh Johnson observed that most students have two major challenges: summarizing and writing concisely. His final project has helped students overcome those challenges. He utilized the Gemini Artificial Intelligence Chatbot to achieve this.
