The organization has conducted public awareness on Media Literacy at six Schools in Rural Montserrado with over five hundred(500) senior high school students in attendance. The schools include: Lucy Gibson School and Montserrado Technical Institute in Mount Barclay, Kingsley Lington Academy and Confidence School in Fendell and New Jerusalem School and Careysburg Public High School in Careysburg. Moreover, we organized a two-day Media Literacy Awareness (February 8-9, 2023) for over fifty (50) students of the Department of Communication and Media Studies at the University of Liberia.
The Executive Director of the organization, Taweh Johnson, disclosed that the project is an initiative and members of the organization are using their own resources to sustain peace in Liberia by teaching citizens how to verify information.
Taweh Johnson also disclosed that the organization will be decentralized across the fifteen (15) counties in Liberia. Taweh Johnson has appealed to those who get information from the Social Media to counter-check and verify before disseminating information to the public.
