Misinformation and Disinformation have the potential to erode Liberia’s democracy, peace, and development.
At the Center for the Exchange of Intellectual Opinions (CEIO) on Carey Street, CAMDL conducted a Misinformation and Disinformation Awareness Campaign. CAMDL instructed more than twenty members of the Intellectual Center on how to double-check information before sharing it.
Taweh Johnson, CAMDL Executive Director, said that the organization was at CEIO because it is a well-known Intellectual Center in Monrovia that many Liberians use on a weekly basis to obtain information.
